Real midfielder Toni Kroos has agreed a new contract until 2016, which the Germany global will sign at the club's Santiago Bernabeu stadium today.

Madrid are expected to also shortly announce contract extensions for Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric as they look to reward the players that have won them two Champions League in three seasons.

According to a report on, the new deal, which extends his previous contract by two years, is reported in Spain to be worth €20 million per season before tax.

Real Madrid have confirmed Toni Kroos has agreed a new deal that will see him stay at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2022.

United and City had been linked to the player by a Spanish TV show, with journalist Pipi Estrada telling El Chiringuito: "A war of two great coaches of worldwide prestige, Guardiola and Mourinho, for a player, a player of Real Madrid: Toni Kroos".

Kroos joined Madrid from Bayern Munich for €30 million in summer 2014 and has since been a key player at the Bernabeu - especially under current boss Zinedine Zidane.
