He's been arrested on a murder charge in the stabbing of a 66-year-old black man named Timothy Caughman.

Caughman described himself in his Twitter bio as "a can and bottle recycler, autograph collecter in NY city".

On Monday night, Jackson crossed paths with Timothy Caughman, a black man who was rummaging through garbage on a sidewalk in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, according to the police account.

"You need to arrest me", Jackson reportedly told police.

The New York Daily News reports that a 28-year-old military veteran who identifies as a white supremacist has admitted to the NYPD that he traveled from Baltimore to New York so he could kill black people.

Cops released surveillance video of the attacker, shown bolting from the stabbing dressed in a sharp overcoat. Jackson stabbed him repeatedly in his chest and back, they said.

Marine Le Pen: Britain has shown France how to leave the EU
It was during an interview with former Ukip leader Nigel Farage that Ms Le Pen praised the Government and Parliament for their "remarkable and honourable" acceptance of Brexit.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

For the next 24 hours, Jackson stayed in the city.

Officers searched the man, whose name has not been released, and found two knives on him, according to the police sources. Police asked for the public's help to ID him - and he saw it on TV.

Police eventually allowed Jackson to lead them to the location where he discarded the weapon, said to be around 26 in., and also obtained a computer that the admitted racist used to compile a hateful manifesto. NYPD has been told the suspect served in the Army for four years, where he was deployed to Afghanistan and Germany, and honorably discharged in 2012. Caughman described himself as a "can and bottle recycler, autograph collecter in NY city" on social media.

Law officials have yet to peruse the contents due to lack of a proper warrant, but NYPD Chief of Detectives William Aubry says that race was the sole factor of Jackson's deathly actions.
