Nintendo Direct Focused on Arms and Splatoon 2 Will Stream This Week

The broadcast will showcase Arms, the new fighting game that is based on extendable arms that can be used to punch, block, throw, and perform various other martial manoeuvres. Nintendo has also mentioned that they will also talk about the upcoming games for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

Any announced game will more than likely release later in the year, so Nintendo needs to save those big announcements for this year's E3.

Nintendo Switch fans are in for a double treat this week as Nintendo plans to reveal two new exclusive blockbuster games for the console.

The Nintendo Switch has been available worldwide for a little over a month and Nintendo is shifting its attention to the system's second wave of software.

According to the announcement, the Nintendo Direct will commence on April 12 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM GMT. Make sure to tune in at Nintendo.com or Twitch to catch the latest Nintendo news, or tune into GameZone who will undoubtedly be covering the event. Both of the games are now listing under a 2017 release but with no specific release dates.
