Various media reports have confirmed that the cop was later awarded by Bengaluru Police.

In an incident that is going to be long remembered in the history of traffic police of India, a traffic policeman in Bangalore stopped the President's convoy in order to give way to an ambulance.

A traffic police officer in Bengaluru has won hearts and also a Reward for showing the audacity and quick thinking to stop the convoy of the President to let an ambulance pass.
