  • Samsung to launch the Galaxy Note 8 in the US on August 23rd

What does that hint at?

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It would make the phone the biggest flagship of its current line, certainly.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S8, the Note 8 will finally feature a dual rear camera setup. To everyone's surprise, it might also come with a 4K display, more reason being Sony offers one on its Xperia XY Premium.

Over the last few months, rumors have pointed to the Galaxy Note 8 being unveiled at either IFA in Berlin (where the first Note was revealed in 2011) or a dedicated NY event. The tweet was promoting Samsung's Exynos 8895 CPU, the same chip that powers the Galaxy S8. Last month, the Galaxy J3, J5, and J7 (2017) were officially launched.

Like mentioned previously, Samsung has previously been rumored to be working on its smartphone, which the company was believed to introduce towards the end of August.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 won't have a home button, and fingerprint sensor is expected to be present on the back cover.

Brexit talks begin in earnest with citizens' rights in focus
The EU also accepted that details on the Brexit terms will still be open when trade talks start. The European Council President said it was "below expectations".

The wait is nearly over as Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Latin American clients favour the Midnight Black version of the S8 smartphones, Samsung said, followed by Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver, the company said.

Meanwhile, Chinese tech site ITHome claims that the Galaxy Note 8 will launch with Qualcomm's yet-to-be announced Snapdragon 836 mobile platform.

The company has teased the launch date on Twitter in a not-so-cryptic-way. Tipster Evan Blass has pegged the price of the upcoming Galaxy Note device to be around 999 euro (Rs 72,123 approx).

That would be consistent with recent Note launches, which have taken place in August to give the phone more time on the market ahead of the latest iPhone, which usually launches in the middle of September.
