"I remember nothing from, you know, the situation", Olympios, 24, said on Good Morning America on Tuesday, August 29, hours ahead of her televised sit-down with Bachelor host Chris Harrison about the scandal. Olympios, by contrast, was far more somber. Asked to clarify today, she told host Amy Robach, "I was a victim of, you know, just being blown into the media and having people make these insane, you know, assumptions and judgments about what happened that day. And it was just awful to deal with". "The combination of the two is just not a good combination, I am now weaning myself off that medication". Since the scandal, Olympios said she has been weening herself off the medication and cutting down on drinking. As with the show's forced conversation about consent a few weeks ago, it was hard to hear that line and not feel as though the show is working very hard to absolve itself from culpability. "I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4", she had said.

For the first time, Corinne Olympios is willingly giving her side of the story.

"What do you want people to know?" It's just an unfortunate, annoying situation that had to go down.

Though now she says, "I don't blame DeMario". I don't blame DeMario. "It was like I went, like, under anesthesia and then just, like, woke up". As Olympios sees it, DeMario "did run to the media". "It impairs your judgment". "I would hope that if a producer, you know, saw anything that they were uncomfortable with, with anyone, they would do the proper investigations". "And you know who you are inside, and it's so hard that all these people become experts on you and your life".

"I did drink too much", she admitted.

She added to People magazine, in online excerpts posted Tuesday from an interview in the upcoming issue, "I never meant that I was a victim of DeMario. I never said a bad word about DeMario". Many of his pals defended Jackson against her accusation, including his ex-girlfriend, Lexi Thexton.

"I did drink too much", she said.

Both Olympios and the castmate in question, whom Olympios identified as DeMario Jackson, retained attorneys shortly after the company suspended production, which ultimately resumed. 'Corinne isn't here right now.' Which is beyond scary, but it is what it is, I guess.
