Launching today is a new feature called "Context Cards", which will offer extra information on the Snaps that you look at.

If a Snap says "more" that means there is more information available and to find out more swipe up on the Snap.

Many Snapchat users took to Twitter to express their frustration using the hashtag #snapchatdown over the outage of the photo-sharing app. They are powered by partners including TripAdvisor, Foursquare, Michelin, and goop.

Snapchat has also partnered with both Uber and Lyft to integrate with ride sharing services so you can see wait times for the closest driver, and Snapchat says it will add more partners over time for Context Cards.

The new cards allow users viewing stories to swipe up and get relevant information about a business such as reviews, directions or contact information, the company said in a blog post.

The new feature will pop up by swiping "More" at the bottom of snaps sent by users who agree to share their locations.

In earlier tweets , Trump claimed the news media was in cahoots with Democrats to ridicule his hurricane relief efforts. Cruz hit back at Trump, asserting that he is used to dealing with women who "need to be told what to do".

For launch, context cards will be available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on both Android and iOS.

The first card will contain basic information like the name of a place, the category of the venue (say restaurant or store) and ratings.

'Billions of Snaps created each day on Snapchat power products like stories, search, snap map and now, context cards.

These Stories are made up of Snaps submitted by members of the Snapchat community to the firm's "our story" collections while near these location, as well as imagery from partner organisations.

By introducing more search features, Snapchat hopes to give its users more reason to stay on the app while also enabling more opportunities for ads - though that's not the case with Context Cards as of now.
