The app can be downloaded independently of the main WhatsApp client, so a business owner can keep their company chats separate from their personal ones. After this verification, those businesses will be listed as "Confirmed accounts" and you'll see a green checkmark against their names on WhatsApp.
It's completely separate to the standard version of WhatsApp, but it works in much the same manner - only its objective is connecting businesses and customers, rather than friends and family. According to WhatsApp, the new app is meant to reflect the way people already use its service.
WhatsAppannounced plans to begin allowing business accounts hoping to make more profit for their corporate parent, Facebook. However, the company didn't mention anything about an iOS version of the app.
Exclusive SMEs app is available in Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the US.
