Apple recently promised to roll out a "Battery Health" feature in iOS that will offer transparency on the state of an iPhone's battery health and any performance impacts it may be having on the handset. One is the maximum capacity of their device's battery and the second is its peak performance capability. The new feature is called "Battery Health" and when your battery is just fine, you will see the screen below.

If things aren't that rosy, Apple will inform the user that their iPhone has experienced an unexpected shutdown because the battery wasn't able to deliver the required peak power. However, Apple said that once decided, you can not reverse it and the iPhone will not be slowed down by its battery unless there is a battery shutdown. If an unexpected shutdown occurs again, then performance management will increase.

Apple began its performance management practice when it released iOS 10.2.1 previous year to stop the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone SE from shutting down from troubling power circumstances like cold weather, low battery charge, or battery aging. It is to be noted that you can't enable this if once disabled.

In a leaked report, it was confirmed that Apple purposefully slows down their older iPhone models every time a new iOS operating system is rolled out. As users continue to use their phone and batteries age, this number drops. Finally, Carmichael Hill & Associates Inc. acquired a new position in Apple during the 4th quarter valued at about $4,164,000. Apple said in normal conditions, a battery is created to retain up to 80 percent of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles. Today, Thune's office released Apple's response: a in which Apple reiterates the slow-down saga. That's showing how much your current full charge capacity is in relation to when the battery was new. Progressive Investment Management Corp's holdings in Apple were worth $7,595,000 as of its most recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission. On our new iPhone 8, the battery is 100 percent healthy. The first setting shows the health of your iPhone. These can be found in Settings Battery Battery Health (Beta). An iPhone with an older battery with more discharged charge cycles will display a lower percentage, indicating it can't be used as long. So, you will need to go back in the same menu to turn it off again, if you so wish. The investment giant mostly services corporate clients and this deal might help them grow their consumer bank. Additionally, this section will inform the users if the battery's health has been degraded significantly.

The feature to disable CPU throttling is expected to make its way to iOS 11.3 stable build soon.
